Event Gameplay
The event is available in three phases which gradually open more menu items as time passes. Players are required to unlock and complete operations for all menu items in the preceding phase before unlocking the menu for the next phase. Phases are timed as follows (all times shown in UTC+9):
- Phase 1: May 16, 17:00
- Phase 2: May 19, 11:00
- Phase 3: May 22, 11:00
Event Story: Memory Collection
Each event story section but the epilogue has four sub-stories, which are unlocked the first time a player Rests during that phase's menu item for each male lead. Unlock all four menu item stories to proceed to the next main event story.
Step 1: Request Funding (debates)
The Request Funding portion of the event serves the player's source of the Ingredients Voucher items used to unlock the menu. These debates may be challenged up to five times per day, refreshing at 04:00 (UTC+9) daily. Later in the event, up to Ingredients Voucher x50 can be purchased for S-Chip x50 each in Mall > Packs > Time-Limited.
Step 2: Store Operations
Each menu item must be unlocked with Ingredients Voucher x200 and may be replayed as often as desired after unlocking. Menu items have four performance indicators: Food Quality (Quality), Service Efficiency (Efficiency), Level of Service (Service), and Sanitation (Environment). Note that Sanitation is referred to as "Environment" in several dialogues; the guides below have opted to standardize this to "Sanitation" in every instance to avoid confusion.
The goal is to get the highest possible operation score, which is the sum of the scores of the four performance indicators, in 10 rounds. For each menu item, the maximum operation score is 4500 points: one performance indicator will have a cap of 1500 points and the other three will have lower cap of points.
Upon beginning operations for a menu item, a ten-round game will start. With each round, the player selects one performance indicator to increase. The base increase is +150 per selection (+225 for the specialty 1500-point performance indicator). However, these can be increased further by paying attention to the performance indicators that are currently in a bonus state (top right of the screen); these performance indicators receive an additional 50% score, giving the player +225 points per selection (or +300 for the specialty 1500-point performance indicator). When a performance indicator reaches its cap, its score cannot increase any further.
The male lead's energy starts at 100, and each action depletes it by 20; no actions may be taken once the energy bar is empty. Resting replenishes the energy bar fully and consumes one round.
Step 3: Operations Handbook (Task list)
As the player proceeds through the cafe operations for each menu item, hitting certain milestones will complete items in the Operations Handbook task list, which will award the player with Glowy Conches for use in the House of Surprises.

Rewards and Campaigns
House of Surprises
Use Glowy Conches obtained from "Store Operations" and "Operations Handbook" to flip over cards and get a variety of rewards, including the event limited SR cards Luke "Summer Starlight" and Marius "Seaside Sweetness", Tears of Themis, card enhancement materials, and other rewards.
The House of Surprises consists of two reward pools. Obtain all rewards from the current pool to unlock the next. Pool 1 features Luke "Summer Starlight", and Pool 2 features Marius "Seaside Sweetness". Tap on "Reward Preview" to check all the rewards in the current pool and which ones have already been obtained.
Players can flip over a random cell by spending Glowy Conch x10. If you do not have enough Glowy Conch, you can use S-Chips at a conversion rate of 1:1 to exchange for more.

Summer Splash Event Shadow of Themis
During the event, the exclusive SSRs Artem "Ocean's Enchantment" and Vyn "Sunkissed Vacation" will be available for a limited time. A new SSR card from this Event Shadow of Themis is guaranteed within every 100 draws. The "one new SSR from Event Shadow of Themis within every 100 draws" guaranteed count will carry over to future Event Shadows of Themis that use Tears of Themis to obtain Visions, except birthday-limited Shadows of Themis.
This event will have a Vision discount function. Players can consume 8 Vision items to draw 10 cards at once. The Vision discount function can be used twice.
Trace of Tears x1 will be awarded for each pull on the Event-limited banner; the shop will be available in the Mall's Exchange tab as follows until Dec 15 04:00 UTC+9.
