Intro: NXX Headquarters Garden

It's an early morning on a public holiday. The sky of Stellis is clear.

Artem is sitting in the backyard with an exquisite-looking letter in his hand. He is reading it attentively.

You: Is it a new case?

You pull up a chair and sit beside Artem. He looks up from the letter.

Artem: Oh no, it's an invitation to the Stellis Culture Festival. The organizer is my former client.

Vyn: Are you referring to the culture festival held at the City West Art Gallery today?

Vyn walks over and takes out an invitation from his pocket.

Vyn: They have invited several Stellis local artists as guests. with the primary purpose of promoting Stellis' cultural history.

Vyn: The decorations they chose are also in line with the artists' styles, and they have opted for an understated manner of event promotion.

Vyn: It is expected to be the grandest culture festival in recent years.

You: Oh, you know about this too?

Vyn: A patient of mine told me. He is a calligrapher, and his condition has improved after treatment. He will also be participating in it.

Vyn: He sent me an invitation, so I am attending it as well.

You: But shouldn't the organizer make a big deal about it since they are inviting well-known artists to the event?

You: Otherwise, how can they attract the citizens to attend?

Marius: Maybe that's because many old artists don't like to be flashy about their works.

Marius: I have a sculpture mentor who dislikes people using his works for marketing.

Marius: If this culture festival uses his name for marketing, I bet he'll pack up and leave this city overnight.

You: Well, he's an experienced artist. I can understand if he has his unique way of doing things.

Marius: Yeah, he sent a ticket to me office a week ago and said, "Boy, you better go and pick up some skills from it!"

Marius: Honestly, I'd rather buy my own ticket to attend. Now that I'm attending it for the purpose of learning... It kinda stresses me out.

You: Well, a strict teacher makes a good student!

You: Then again, this event seems to have attracted many professional artists to attend. It makes me wanna go too.

Artem: You can take my invitation. The organizer told me that there'll be a second exhibition. I can always go the next time.

You: Oh, no need for that! I was thinking that this is a great opportunity for a team outing.

You: Besides, we only need two more entrance tickets. I'm sure there's a way to get them. What do you say, Luke-

You turn around and discover that Luke is already standing next to you with a smile on his face.

You: Why are you smiling so happily? Hold on, Luke, did you...

(...Did he get an invitation as well? Does that mean you're the only one who didn't get one?)

Luke: You're overthinking it! Unfortunately, none of my clients, customers or mentors are going for this exhibition.

Luke: But as a detective, the moment I ehard of this culture festival, I know it's time to use a special method!

Marius: Special method? You cloned two invitations?

Luke: That's not what my skills are for!

You: So, you...

Luke: I queued up early to get hold of two limited VIP tickets!

Marius: ...

Vyn: Why does this feel rather underwhelming?

You happily take one of the culture festival tickets from Luke and begin to pack your bag.

Artem: Huh? Are you going now?

You: Of course! Many great masters are going to gather there. It's a waste to miss any of them.

You: Let's go. It's time to immerse ourselves in the charm of arts and culture!

After solving five puzzles

Despite the lack of marketing promotions, the Stellis Culture Festival is still crowded with people.

The team finally marks an end to their tour with a wonderful violin performance in the Music Hall.

You: What a beautiful performance... I wonder when Prof. Richardon's next recital will be.

You: This trip to the culture festival was really worth it!

Artem opens a bottle of water and passes it to you with a smile.

Artem: I agree. Director Rivera's storyboard exhibit was amazing as well.

Artem: Maybe he'll win another award at the next International Film Festival.

Luke: You're right! The few short films which Direct Rivera had collaborated with Photographer Griffin are impressive!

Luke: I never thought that the expression of still photographs can be amplified to that level.

Luke: I'm definitely looking forward to Photographer Griffin's personal exhibition now. It's going to be an eye-opener for me!

You: By the way, Marius, your mentor's sculpting techniques are magnificent.

Marius: Yeah, that old man's techniques are impeccable.

Marius: But his temper... is getting worse with age too.

You: True... I was taken aback when I saw him lecturing just now.

Marius: Oh well, I guess it comes from the confidence one has when one is so experienced and knowledgeable.

Marius: I hope that one day, I can reach his level of understanding on sculpture forms too.

Luke: ...What's that in your hand? Is it calligraphy?

You suddenly hear someone talking behind you. You turn around and see that Luke is curiously staring at the scroll in Vyn's hand.

Vyn: It is the work of calligraphy gifted to me by my patient. I find it quite interesting, so I decided to keep it as a memento.

You: Huh!? Was it one of the exhibits from just now? Can I have a look?

Vyn smiles and opens the scroll in front of the team.

Luke: This... is...

On the 2-meter scroll are huge words written in bold, dark ink. However, none of you can tell what they are.

Artem: Is this cursive script?

Vyn: Yes, he likes doing cursive scripts. The characters tend to look more dashing and carefee.

Vyn: The bad thing is it is hard to read. I will consult him again next time.

You: Perhaps that's the uniqueness of cursive script-wild and free.

Vyn: This means he has recovered to his previous state and can be adventurous with his works again. I think it is worth commemorating.

Marius: Are you sure that is his initial state and not the post-treatment state...?

Vyn's only response to that is a mild but meaningful smile. Seeing their interaction makes you want to laugh.

You: At least from the look of his work, he should be able to rediscover his own style, I guess?

You: I hope this culture festival can be a new beginning in his calligraphy creation!

You initially thought that you were an outsider since you did not receive an invitation.

However, it is because of the efforts of everyone in NXX team put in that this culture festival is a successful event.

During the tour, you have met several of your former clients, and all of them are happily enjoying the exhibition.

You: I hope that for every culture festival in the future, we can see more happy faces enjoying the event.

And this is also the goal NXX team is working toward.
