Part 1: Themis Job System

The "Themis Job System" section of the event requires the player to handle cases (debates) divided into morning and afternoon cases. The player will need to clear three randomized cases from the case list, then wait two hours real time before viewing a lunch break story. Then three more cases will be available for the afternoon followed by another two hours of real time wait and a leaving-work story. Wait times may be bypassed at a cost of S-Chip x120 each.

Note that day 3 and 6 of the event will be days off. All debates have a difficulty of 18051 recommended power; only Marius cards may be used for these debates.

Example of "True Lovers" movement

After reviewing a full day's cases and leaving work, play the "True Lovers" couple's minigame with Marius by choosing a starting location on the grid and playing the resulting activity together with him. Choose one of the numbers at the top to start the indicator; it will take every possible "rung" on the ladder while moving downward until it eventually lands on an icon at the bottom, and that icon's activity will play.

Part 3: Cleaning Up (Item Search)

After playing the minigame, a hidden object game will commence to clean up the living room before sleeping. Find all of the objects shown in the upper right section of the screen to complete the stage. The "Hint" button may be used to reveal any difficult-to-find objects.

Part 4: Rest

The next day's gameplay will be available at 8 AM (UTC+9) the following day; the event will go into "Resting" mode until that time, regardless of the time the current day ended. Players who are "behind" the intended event schedule will experience very short rests that are only seconds long before the next day begins.

Note that a short, un-subtitled audio clip in your chosen voiceover language will play when rest begins. This clip is available in all of the available voice languages. Players who are interested in these clips should turn up their device volume before resting as they are not repeated.

Day 1

Lunch break

You: (I finally finished my work for the morning!)

You set the documents in your hand aside, stretching your arms and neck before you suddenly recall what Marius said before you left this morning.

You: (Marius said he'd order some lavish takeout for my lunch today... I wonder what it will be.)

Just as you're thinking about what he might have ordered, the receptionist places a massive takeout bag on your table.

Receptionist: Miss [Player]! The takeout Mr. von Hagen ordered for you is here!

A smile emerges on your lips as you look at the bag of takeout commanding a huge amount of desk space.

You: (Looks like the "lavishness" of the takeout begins with its size.)

You: Thank you! You can just leave it here.

Receptionist: Sure. I'm going to head back then.

After the receptionist leaves, you open the beautifully packaged bag to find dozens of boxes of varying sizes inside.

A card is attached to the topmost box. It reads:

Dear [Player], the lavish lunch I promised you has arrived!

I'm not sure what you like to eat at noon, so I ordered from all the best restaurants nearby.

It might be too much... but you can share with your coworkers.

You: (At this point, "too much" is an understatement...)

Leaving work

You: I'm finally off work...

You pack up your stuff with excitement. As you get ready to leave, the receptionist suddenly appears in front of your desk.

Receptionist: Miss [Player]!

You: What's the matter? Is there an emergency?

Receptionist: No, nothing like that. It's just that a weird guy came looking for you. He asked me to let you know he's waiting for you at the door.

You: A weird guy? Waiting for me?

Receptionist: Yep. He has pink hair and his clothes are... how should I put it... unusually trendy.

Receptionist: I can only see his eyes since he wears a mask, but I think he is pretty cute.

Receptionist: Oh, and he was driving a cool sports car with flashy stickers on it.

As you listen to the receptionist, you rack your brain, but you can't think of anyone who matches her description.

You: That is pretty weird... I don't know him. I'll take a look when I head downstairs.

Receptionist: Sure.

Overcome with curiosity, you're out the door of the law firm before you know it.

As the receptionist said, a cool orange sports car covered in stickers is parked on the street.

A pink-haired man wearing a gaudy coat is leaning against the car door, casually checking out the nearby buildings.

You: (I'm not sure why... but he seems familiar the longer I look at him...)

Seemingly noticing your gaze, the man looks over and waves enthusiastically.

You: (Argh... I just wanted to take a quick look and then leave. There's no escaping now.)

You can only walk over.

You: Hi there...?

???: ...

The man is taken aback for a moment. But in the next second, he pulls off his wig, mask, coat, and other flashy accessories...

Marius: What!? You didn't recognize me in such a simple disguise?

You: Marius!?

Watching him shed his disguise, you suddenly understand why you find him familiar.

Glancing at the sports car parked to the side, you realize he's here to pick you up from work.

You: You're just here to pick me up from work! Why are you dressed like that?

Marius: Driving here and picking you up like I always do is so boring...

Marius: It's nice to put together a surprise once in a while. That way, you can experience something new when you get off work.

Marius: So what did you think of my special outfit today? Did it make an impression?

You: Most definitely. I'll never forget the "trendsetter" I saw today.

Marius: Thanks for the compliment. Ready to head home?

You: Yep.

Speeding along in the sports car, you soon arrive home. The sky has also darkened.

After Marius changes out of his costume, you two work together to draw the interconnected lines according to the rules.

Marius: Okay, the drawing's all done. Now we can start playing.

You: I wonder what our first task will be...

Sleep

It starts to rain outside as you and Marius lay on the bed together. The sound of the rain is the nature's music.

You hold hands and gently fall asleep to the comfortable melody of rain...

Day 2

Wake Up

Sunlight seeps into the house through the gauze curtains, warm and radiant.

A new day has begun.

Lunch break

You: (I'm so tired... Why am I so busy today?)

After typing out the last word, you finally finish your work for the morning. Just as you're about to grab a bite to eat, you get a call from Marius.

You: Hi...

Marius: Why do you sound so exhausted? Haven't you taken your lunch?

You: Yeah, I've been too busy until now. I have a lot to do today and I'm so tired... I'm drained.

Upon hearing Marius' voice, you unconsciously begin complaining to him about work.

You hear his tone grow softer, seemingly trying to soothe your troubled emotions.

Marius: If you're too tired, take a break. Your health comes first. There's always no end to work...

You: That's true, but I still have a deadline...

You: *Sigh*... Never mind. I just wish there was a good way to recharge my mind.

Marius: Recharge...

Marius pauses and then smiles slightly.

Marius: I have a good idea.

You: What?

Marius: You'll know it later. Go on and eat something, and then rest during your lunch break... I'm worried about you.

You can tell Marius is purposefully changing the topic to maintain a sense of surprise, so you go along with it.

You: All right, I'll eat first. You should have an early lunch too!

Marius: As you wish, Miss Attorney.

Even though you two merely exchanged simple pleasantries, you feel much better after the call.

Anticipation rises up in your heart as you wonder what Marius' idea could be...

Leaving work

After sorting through the documents, you lean back in your chair and let out a long, tired sigh.

You: ...I'm finally done sorting through everything right before it's time to get off.

Your mind goes blank for a moment. Mentally and physically exhausted, you finally start packing up your stuff and getting ready to leave.

Just then, you hear your phone vibrating — it's a call from Marius.

Marius: [Player], are you off work now?

You: Yeah, I'm packing my things up right now.

You: What's wrong?

Marius: It's nothing. I just wanted to check in on you.

Marius sounds like he's in high spirits. Did something good happen?

Marius: Go over to the window and take a look...

You: The window...?

Following his instructions, you walk over to the window and instinctively look down. However, you don't spot anything out of the ordinary.

You: There's nothing down there. I can't see you either.

Marius: No, look up at the sky.

As your gaze shifts upward, the exclamations from your nearby coworkers also catch your attention.

Colleague A: Whoa! Look, guys! What's that?

Colleague B: Wow...

A jet plane flies right in front of your building through the clear blue sky...

It shows off by looping around several times in the air. The white smoke emitted from its tail paints a huge smiley face in the air.

Colleague B: It's drawing a smiley face!

Colleague A: It's huge...

As you recall your phone call with Marius at noon, your heart is filled with a sensation as sweet as honey.

You: ...

Colleague B: Wow, seeing this after a long day's work puts me in a great mood.

Colleague A: Me too! Did you notice how lucky we are? We got to see the entire smiley face!

You almost can't help from laughing out loud as you listen to your coworkers talk to each other. Lowering your voice, you respond to Marius on the other end of the call.

You: Thanks for the smile, Marius.

Marius: No problem. I was worried about affecting your work if I had made it too obvious. Otherwise, I would've asked them to write your name instead.

Marius happily accepts your thank-you. Even though you can't see his face, you can imagine his proud expression at this very moment.

Marius: So? Did the smiley face make you feel more awake?

You: Of course. I don't feel tired at all now.

Marius: I'm glad. As long as you're less tired than you were at noon, I've achieved my goal.

Marius: All right, I have a contract to sign. I'll see you at home in a bit.

You: Okay, see you at home.

You look out the window again after you hang up. The white trail traces a perfect arc in your heart...

You head back home in high spirits.

After dinner, both of you go into the bedroom and get ready to play the game.

Marius: Which one should we choose today?

You: Let me see...

After washing up, you and Marius lie on the bed and talk about everything under the sun.

The conversation topic gradually transformed from "interesting things that happened recently" to "delicacies in the southernmost city in the country"...

Wake Up

Half asleep, you feel a gentle caress on your cheek...

You: Mmm...

You open your eyes to see Marius propping himself up next to your pillow and looking at you with a smile.

Lunch break

Marius said he wanted to have lunch together before you left this morning, so you head to a fancy restaurant with him during your lunch break.

You: Isn't this a bit too... fancy for a simple lunch?

Marius: Its fanciness isn't important — the scenery is the main focus here.

Marius: You've been working hard all morning, so you should reward yourself with good food and a nice view.

Marius points at the bustling scene outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, shooting you a wink.

The caring nature of his words can't help but make you feel warm.

You: Well, the scenery is beautiful, indeed.

You: Then... do you have any food recommendations?

Marius: I'm okay with anything. It's up to you.

Marius: If you like it, I like it.

You: Does that mean you're leaving the order to me?

Marius: Yep.

Marius nods and calls the waiter over.

After you enjoy your lunch, you and Marius sit at the coffee table next to the floor-to-ceiling windows and relax for a bit...

Only when it's time to return to work for the afternoon that you reluctantly get ready to leave.

You: It would be great if we could have such a nice lunch break every day...

Marius: Then why don't I add a "Special Moment with [Player]" to my schedule daily?

Even though Marius says it like a joke, the emotion in his gaze is sincere. It's like he would do it immediately if you agreed.

You: That's okay... You're so busy. It would be hard for you to take time out of your schedule every day to see me...

Even though you want to see Marius every day at noon, your rationality wins out.

He smiles in resignation, wrapping an arm around your shoulder.

Marius: *Sigh*... I was hoping you'd say yes so I could unapologetically negotiate with those old dudes.

You: Work is important! And we see each other daily — it's okay if we can't see each other at noon.

Marius: You say that, but my heart is telling me... I want to see you every moment I can, even if it's just one more minute.

There is a gentle emotion in Marius' eyes. After pausing for a few seconds, he seemingly thinks of something.

Marius: How about this? As long as nothing important gets delayed, I'll set aside a lunch break once a week to spend time with you.

Marius: That's my bottom line, [Player]... You have to promise me.

Faced with that expression of his, how could you not feel touched?

You smile and nod, and then throw your arms around his neck.

All right, I feel the same. I want to see you every moment.

After getting off work early today, you head back to the von Hagen estate. However, Marius doesn't greet you in the living room like usual...

You walk upstairs to the bedroom and look around but can't find him anywhere.

You: (Weird... Marius said he is working from home today...)

Just then, Mr. Way brings in a plate of freshly cut fruit.

Payton Way: Miss, please enjoy.

You: Thank you, Mr. Way. By the way, do you know where Marius went?

Payton Way: ...Didn't Master Marius tell you?

You: No...

You: Did he go out for a bit to handle something important?

Payton Way: No, um... Well...

Mr. Way looks around, his words caught in his throat.

Before you can ask any more questions, a burning smell drifts in from the kitchen alongside the sound of a familiar voice.

???: Tch... Geez, seriously...

In the next second, Marius walks out of the kitchen covering his mouth and nose.

Marius: *Cough, cough*... Payton... Oh, [Player]! You're back?

Marius looks surprised to see you in the living room.

You: Yeah, I got off work early today. What are you up to...?

Faced with your question, Marius is momentarily silent. He then sighs as if he's already given up on himself.

Marius: ...I just wanted to cook something for you.

Marius: But no matter how hard I try, it keeps turning out wrong. This is already the seventh time I've burnt it...

You: The seventh time...?

You can barely restrain a smile as you look at Marius' slightly embarrassed expression.

You: It's the thought that counts. Thank you, Marius.

You: But we should leave stuff like cooking to the professionals.

Marius: Yeah...

Payton Way: I told Master Marius the same thing, but he just had to...

Marius: Payton—

Payton Way: Ahem... I'll head into the kitchen.

After Mr. Way leaves, you comfort Marius for a bit.

He eventually finally agrees to find another time to cook for you to prove himself. He decides to leave tonight's dinner up to the private chef.

After an enjoyable dinner together, the sky grows dark. You and Marius return to the bedroom.

You two rest briefly before Marius takes out the drawing and prepares to continue the game.

Marius: It doesn't matter what kind of task we get, as long as it isn't "cook together" or something...

You: Then let's see how lucky we get today.

Colleague A: Miss [Player], this cake shop launched a new product today. Want to order together?

Looking at the cakes marked "Summertime Exclusive" on the screen, the first thing that pops into your head is the urge to buy some for Marius to try.

You then order some takeout from the shop, ready to surprise Marius.

A smile emerges on your lips as you enter the delivery address...

It feels really nice to surprise each other once in a while.

After typing your final word, you glance over at the wall clock.

You: Great! I can get off early again today.

You: Hmm... How about I find Marius right now?

You look down at your phone and check the latest message sent by Marius — he'll be in the studio all afternoon.

After calculating the time in your mind, you quickly pack up your stuff and head to the studio to see Marius.

You gingerly open the door as you arrive at the studio...

Marius is sitting in front of an easel with his back facing you, diligently waving his paintbrush. The warm sunshine streaming through the window gives him a faint glow.

You: (I'd better not bother him.)

You're about to quietly tiptoe over to the lounge area when a familiar voice stops you right in your tracks.

Marius: [Player], you got off work early today. Are you here to wait for me?

You: ...

You: Weren't you focused on your painting? How did you notice me come in?

Marius: I didn't lose focus. I know what's on your mind and sensed your presence as soon as you came in.

Marius: Look, the cabin at the foot of the mountain still isn't done.

Basking in the warm sunlight, you and Marius transform into colorful dots on the canvas.

You believe you'll sleep better tonight after the "relaxation" service.
