A top psychology expert who turned down all kinds of job invitations and decided to become a psychologist in Stellis City. Vyn is able to face any situation with ease and skill, giving those around him a sense of ease, causing people to involuntarily open their hearts to him, displaying their truest self before him. If one's heart has secrets, it most definitely will be discovered by him[2]. Words on a document do not necessarily reflect reality. Vyn wishes to know a person's true heart[4].

Vyn has a very gentle temperament, but he is not what one may imagine as a weak scholar. He is very reliable in critical moments. Weakness of a person who is able to maintain a perfect disposition is unknown. Though he is young, he is a distinguished visiting professor at Stellis University[1][2]. If he cannot be found in the Giannovyn Mental Health Research Centre, one may find him at Stellis University[2].

During his spare time, Vyn enjoys gardening, listening to classical music and baking desserts.

Background

A world renowned expert on psychology[5][1], Vyn is a young and genius psychologist with double Honorary Doctorates in Psychology and Pedagogy (approach to teaching) from the University of Svart, School of Psychology[1]. His outstanding appearance and speeches have attracted media attention to pry into his life experiences, but no accurate news has been uncovered[1]. Vyn also has a practising psychology licence and an international hypnotist certificate[1].

Vyn's original nationality is from Kingdom of Svart but he migrated to Stellis City in 2028 to be a naturalised citizen[1] for reasons unknown[5]. He has since focused on criminal psychology and published many academic papers[1]. In 2028, Vyn and Giann von Hagen also jointly co-founded the Giannovyn Mental Health Research Centre where he is the chef researcher[1].

Vyn's schedule is well-known to be somewhat liberal due to his renown in his field, often not seeing him arrive for work at the Giannovyn Mental Health Research Center until the afternoon.[6]

Vyn is sometimes derisive of human flaws, such as the tendency to prioritize selfish short-sighted personal gain while still rationalizing those same choices as logical and intelligent.[6]

  • Both MoYi's double Doctorates in Psychology and Pedagogy (approach to teaching) are Honorary Doctorates (荣誉博士学位[1]). This has been omitted in English localisation.
    • Honorary doctorates are not earned through academic achievements, but through altruistic or lifetime accomplishments or contributions to a community, nation, or society. They are a symbolic honour conferred by a university committee that recognizes an individual's contribution giving special links to that university. Because they are honoris causa (Latin: "for the sake of honour"), they are not conferred the right to be used as a true degree as they are an award.

    • Episode 2: The Unbearable Love 02-01 when English localised Vyn corrects MC on his proper profession and address, the term psychiatrist appears for the first time in the game.
