Jerry Jones is a chemistry student at Stellis Sci-Tech University. He lives off-campus in a residence he once shared with now-deceased girlfriend Naomi Anderson. He's described as having a fair complexion, medium height, and slightly thin build, looking like a typical nerdy student.[2] Jerry wears a talisman from Cloudbreak Temple for unknown reasons, and his pinky nails are noted to be kept long.[3]
Jerry is not native to Stellis City, moving from outside the province to attend school in Stellis, which he chose to do after finding Naomi's photography on the internet and bonding with her while they were both in high school. He was unfamiliar with North Stellis and believed Naomi was a bar singer until the night she died, when the police informed him otherwise. Naomi's brother, Jovi Vance, remarked that Jerry seemed extremely distraught over her death, and he left Naomi's belongings with Jerry as a memento.[4] However, Jerry found the memories too painful and donated or burned them all;[3] he also makes and burns strings of paper cranes at Stellis River in her memory each month since her passing.[2]
