Denman Financial is a debt collection agency founded in 2010 by Theodore Denman. Since its founder's death in 2025, it has been headed by Ava Kendricks. Its debt collection staff is at least partially filled by "thralls," blackmailed fugitives who are given no choice but to work for the company.[1]
The company is known to buy debt from creditors at a discount, then harass and threaten debtors to pay.[2]

Archive[edit | edit source]
Denman Financial has taken control of a seemingly abandoned archive in North Stellis. The archive, located on Ginkgo Avenue, was built in the early 1900s and is owned by a private collector. The courtyard and first two floors give the impression of a completely abandoned site; leaves, construction debris, and last-century furniture litters the building, and the site is left unsecured by broken windows and useless doors. However, the archive's climate controls are newly-installed and well-maintained, and its third floor is soundproofed and barred by a recently-installed security door with an electronic PIN pad.[3][4][5]
The building is H-shaped with large rooms at each corner:
- The northwest room stores antiques and artworks. It is marked by disorganized piles of paintings, broken porcelain, and crooked paintings on the walls.
- The southwest room stores drugs distributed by the company's thralls.
- The northeast room safeguards the personal information, case history, and blackmail material such as video evidence or DNA-laden clothing used to keep the company's active thralls under control.
- The southeast room holds paper-only records of thralls who have died or been released after working off their debts, as well as a custom vaccuum chamber used in traps to create thralls.
