General

Hugh Moss, also known as Huey, is an orphan from Opaline Village who was diagnosed with autism. He was adopted by Jasmine Kenders in July of 2029; after her death on Huey's birthday a little over a month later, he was sent to Stellis Orphanage to live. Despite his youth, Huey is highly adept with computer-related pursuits, hacking the Big Data Lab multiple times to get Jasmine's case flagged as suspicious and leaving handwritten computer code as a clue for investigators to follow at her apartment.

Huey has a number "3" branded on the inside of his left arm, though how he received it and what happened to him prior to his arrival at the Opaline orphanage is a mystery. He's also much shorter than most boys his age.

Story

Huey was an experimental research subject at Heirson Health Products' lab in Opaline Village. Vyn Richter discovered after testing him that he does not have autism, but rather has developed a defense mechanism of cold distance from others due to his ordeals. Eventually at the end of the story, he was able to smile as his mother's name and reputation was restored and he walked off with his new adoptive parents.
