Gene Greene is the owner of Night Hunt, a bar in North Stellis.
Gene was formerly known as Gene Gomez; he was a factory worker in another state before committing armed robbery of a cash transport in 2015 to cover his family's medical expenses. The crime left two guards in vegetative states due to severe injuries.[1] To escape the consequences, he fled to Stellis City and changed his name with assistance from Theodore Denman.[2]
Denman blackmailed Gene, holding proof of his connection to his past crimes in the form of bloody clothing, and held Gene as one of his "thralls" in debt collection for eight years before directing the bar to be opened. Denman demanded 50% of all the bar's profit to pay his blackmail debt, and Ava Kendricks maintained the arrangement after taking over the company. Gene kept the bar strictly legal to the best of his abilities, not wanting to be recaptured to serve time for his crime back home.[1]
Gene was captured by Stellis City Police as part of a crackdown that conducted DNA sweeps at establishments throughout North Stellis. He was relieved for his time as a thrall to be over, sleeping more soundly than ever before and looking forward to seeing his family again in prison visits.[1]
