At least on the surface, it was an organization whose purpose was to elevate emotional intelligence for men and provide emotional wellness counseling. In actuality, it was just a front for the PUA with several "emotional mentors," including Wayne Hanks, and countless followers. | |

Saving Your Romance operates by messaging men who blog about their loneliness, offering to sell courses that will allow them to date any woman they want. They then add members to a chat group with coaches and other students, where they sometimes share PUA tips and frequently brag about their latest conquests.[1] After the first arrest of one of their members, the group disappeared, relocating all group chats to make themselves harder to track.[2]
The group was founded and remains lightly controlled by someone going only by "You-Know-Who," who recruited and trained the first few mentors and now takes a hands-off approach to leading the group, handing off information on new trainees regularly and giving occasional pointers. You-Know-Who has never shown his face, conducting all business over the internet; he also changes accounts regularly.[3]
Despite his light touch with the group as a whole, You-Know-Who requires students update him regularly and forbids members from hosting their own classes or streams spreading his techniques.[4]
