Zangr believes that he knows a great secret of the world: he and everyone around him are NPCs (non-playable characters) living in a book or a video game, and he himself is a background NPC fated to be nothing but cannon fodder. However, he also believes in magic that can change this fate and is on a quest to become the main character.[4]
Zangr participated as a Treasure Hunter in the Nosta Treasure Island Event, but had to be saved from quicksand after taking two steps on the beach. He carries around a foldable stool.[5] Throughout the event, he found several fourth-wall breaking items in his search for the "Universal Law," and at the end of the event, he disappeared with the sound of an explosion, leaving behind broken stone slabs engraved with binary code.[6]
