General

Harry is the son of Gordon Grant and is the older half-brother of Joey Grant. He is a graduate student studying pharmaceutical sciences and was home on break from school during the events of Episode 3.[3]

Harry has a hostile relationship with his father over his belief that his father's affair contributed to the death of his mother six months prior, as well as over their arguments about the late Mrs. Grant's properties and assets. Harry also has an unfriendly relationship with his father's mistress, Joanne Scott. However, he cares for Joey because he believes that she should not be subjected to the family disputes.[3][4]

During school, Harry resides on campus -- or nearby in an apartment in South Stellis[5] -- and returns home on weekends to visit Joey or to stay for break.[3] He once remarked that his family celebrates birthdays by throwing a party in a local hotel with a band and multi-tiered cake.[6] His favorite kinds of movies are fantasy and heartfelt drama.[7]

Story

Harry is the central character and Artem's client in Episode 3: The Weight of a Soul. He is accused of murdering Gordon Grant by poisoning his father's medicine with a drug similar to Joey's medicine, which is dangerous to Gordon.

Harry began to premeditate his father's death after his arguments with his father and after the family doctor informed him that Gordon Grant would leave the Grant Estate to Joanne. He purchased raw materials, purified them in a lab on campus, and used them to create highly concentrated tablets.[3]

With the tablets in hand, Harry attempted to drop one into his father's medicine but was stopped by Fannie Morris, causing the tablet to fall onto the stove. However, due to Fannie's unreliable testimony, it is uncertain whether Harry or Joanne was the one who dropped the tablet into Gordon's medicine.[3][8]

After the trial, Harry promises Joanne that he will pay for Joey's medical treatments as long as Joanne leaves the Grant Estate.[8][9] His studies have since included projects in gene repair, in hopes that his research can help Joey or children like her.[5]
