Evidence

Gordon's Autopsy Report

Estelle's Autopsy Report icon.png

Evidence Description (Spoilers)

Gordon Grant's autopsy report from the police with detailed information about his time of death and cause of death.

Victim: Gordon Grant

Time of Death: 11:50 AM

Cause of Death: Lethal reaction (myocardial infarction) caused by the drug. After comparing the dose found inside the victim's body with the remaining amount of the drug discarded by Harry Grant, it is highly likely that the drug came from Harry Grant.

Motives: The suspect, Harry Grant, had a fight with Gordon Grant over the family's financial assets, which may have caused this crime of passion.

Lab Report on the Discarded Tablets

FSB's Incident Report icon.png

Evidence Description (Spoilers)

A lab report from the police with details on the drug that caused the death of Gordon Grant.

The drug was found in the public bin.

The white tablets are non-toxic or hazardous.

However, the drug can potentially trigger lethal reactions in cardiac patients. It is also not a prescription drug, which makes it easy to obtain.

After purification, the dose to trigger lethal reactions is about half a tablet. Judging by the dose found inside the victim's body, the victim had ingested one tablet of the purified drug.

Theory 1:

In addition to Harry, Fannie, who's in charge of Joey's medicine, also had the opportunity to commit the crime. Joanne is also aware of the cautions of Gordon's condition.

Clue(s)

Surveillance - Throwing the Drugs Away

Harry threw the tablets away at 10:53. No one went to the bin afterwards.

Eyewitness Testimony

The nanny claims that she saw Harry enter the kitchen and that Harry dropped white tablets into the medicine, which led to Gordon's death.

Inheritance Dispute

Harry heard that Gordon planned to leave all his assets to Joanne upon his death. Harry was enraged by this arrangement and wanted to murder Gordon.

Gordon's Asset Misappropriation

Gordon used bribery and forgery to get his hands on the property and pharmacy shares that Harry's mother left for him.

Stopped From Tampering With the Medicine

Fannie witnessed Harry attempting to tamper with the medicine. She convinced him to abandon this course of action.

Drug That Was Thrown Away

The drug dose found in Gordon's body matches the dose in Harry's missing refined tablet. No other similar drugs were found on scene.

Opportunity to Tamper

After Fannie stopped Harry, he didn't have another opportunity to tamper with the medicine. He could've only done it during his first trek into the kitchen.
