General
Harry is the son of Gordon Grant and is the older half-brother of Joey Grant. He is a graduate student studying pharmaceutical sciences and is currently on break from school.[1]
Harry has a hostile relationship with his father over their arguments about the late Mrs. Grant's properties and assets. Harry also has an unfriendly relationship with his father's mistress, Joanne Scott. However, he cares for Joey because he believes that she should not be subjected to the family disputes.[1][2]
During the school, Harry resides on campus and returns home on weekends to visit Joey or to stay for break.[1]
Story
Harry began to premeditate his father's death after his arguments with his father and after the family doctor informed him that Gordon Grant would leave the Grant Estate to Joanne. He purchased raw materials, purified them in a lab on campus, and used them to create highly concentrated tablets.[1]
With the tablets in hand, Harry attempted to drop one into his father's medicine but was stopped by Fannie Morris, causing the tablet to fall onto the stove. However, due to Fannie's unreliable testimony, it is uncertain whether Harry or Joanne was the one who dropped the tablet into Gordon's medicine.[1][3]
After the trial, Harry promises Joanne that he will pay for Joey's medical treatments as long as Joanne leaves the Grant Estate.[3][4]Organization(s)
