Summary
Artem and the
main character observe
Jack Barlow from a distance until, after a brief rest, he dashes into a nearby cave brandishing a blade. Artem confronts Jack, telling the truth about his having come at the behest of
Darius Morgan and warning him not to take the option that harms him the most. Jack counters with a recollection of
Joshua Ott telling him that his father was Joshua's least memorable kill, expressing hopelessness that Joshua would confess to the murder or that any evidence against him could possibly still exist and claiming he's ready to face any consequences for his vengeance.
