Summary

Ian Johnson is disgruntled after Ingrid Rosworth rejects his case, and Artem takes this opportunity to question him, discovering that Ingrid had caught and blackmailed him for manufacturing hallucinogens during the previous case.

Back in Opaline Village, Luke and the main character arrive at Iker Lance's farmhouse to deliver a package and meet Iker's wife Yvonne Wright, who promptly chases them out after learning about the package. Irvin Soong appears in front of the pair and gossips about Iker's past, revealing he'd sent Jasmine Kenders the hair clip as a result of his unrequited affection for her and that Jasmine had been friends with Yvonne prior to Iker's failed attempt to cheat.
