Tears of Themis features multiple types of Shadows of Themis ("banners") where each has its own pool of Visions (manifesting as Cards) with separate pity counts. The type of Shadows of Themis is noted at the top left of the UI, under the back button. 'Probability' contains Shadow of Themis details including Vision availability and probability rates.
Drawing for Visions
Each Shadow of Themis has the option of drawing 1 or 10 Visions at once. A single Vision draw costs 1
Tears of Themis, while 10 Vision draws will cost 10Tears of Themis.
If the player has insufficient Tears, a request will prompt with an exchange rate to convert 180 
S-Chips to 1 Tear. If player is also deficient in S-Chips, 10S-Chips may be obtained from converting 1
Gem. It is not recommended to pre-exchange S-Chips into Tears prior to pulling on Shadow of Themis.
Large events, such as Mysteries of the Lost Gold, have Event Limited Shadow of Themis that requires Special Tears. These Special Tears have a (limited) discount for converting S-Chip into Special Tears, before reverting back to the 180:1 S-Chip:Tear exchange rate.

Pity
The maximum amount of draws to guarantee a SSR or SR Vision is called "pity". In all Shadow of Themis draws, a SR Vision or higher will appear within 10 draws while a SSR Vision will appear within 100. One exception is the Permanent Shadow of Themis where new players will begin with a 30 pity to guarantee their first SSR. Thereafter, the Permanent Shadow of Themis will return to 100 pity for SSR. A display counter for SSR and SR pity is on each Shadow of Themis, above the Vision draw buttons.
Vision tutorial with DAVIS will not draw a SSR or count towards pity. One out of the main story SR Visions with private messages will be drawn (Luke SR "Once Upon a Time," Luke SR "Together with You," Artem SR "Staying Humble," Artem SR "Darkest Before Dawn," Marius SR "Butterflies," Marius SR 'Falling into You," or Vyn SR "Spilling Light"), along with a combination of R Visions.
Vision History
A log of Visions drawn within the last seven days can be found through Profile > Customer Service > Self-Search (Go to the Self-Search page) > Vision Logs.
Shadow of Themis Types
Permanent
Beginning with 65 Visions, the Permanent Shadow of Themis is the largest pool of Visions available. SSR is guaranteed within 100 draws while SR or above is guaranteed within 10 draws.

Rotation
The Rotation Shadow of Themis a limited-time rate-up of four Visions from a pool of 48. It features two rate-up SSR (as the only two SSR in the pool) and two rate-up SR (out of 14 SR).

It features two new rate-up SSR (as the only two SSR in the pool) and one new rate-up SR (out of a pool of 15 SR). Returning rate-up of these event cards will appear in Rotational Shadow of Themis.

Event Limited
This Shadow of Themis appears along side a large event. Event Limited is a limited-time rate-up of four SSR, where each of the male leads are featured.
Draw rates are increased for new SSR in a round-robin style, in pairs. A different pair combination of male lead rate-up will be featured on certain days. These SSR will be unobtainable after the event ends.

SSR pity is favoured towards obtaining any new SSR (regardless of rate-up or not). If all or no SSR in this Shadow of Themis are owned, one random SSR is guaranteed within 100 Visions and pity will reset (It possible to draw the owned SSRs multiple times - this will not reset pity until a new SSR is obtained). The rate-up in this Shadow of Themis only increases the probability certain SSR to appear, not an absolute: It is possible for a non-rate up SSR to appear.
The guarantee pity count will carry over between the different rate up rotations. But will not carry to the next event due to use of Special Tears.
Special Tears
A feature of Event Limited Shadow of Themis is the appearance of two Special Tears: <named> and <Limited>. The difference between them are how they are obtained: <named> Tears are obtained through S-Chip conversion, while <Limited> Tears are gifted Tears during the event campaign. In Mysteries of the Lost Gold, the Event Limited: For Hearts and Mysteries, Special Tears were named <Pursuit>.[1]
There is a limited discount on Special Tears through event exchange (144:1 rate for S-Chip:Special Tear) that should be considered before any currency conversion. Then to prevent accidental conversion to the wrong Tear type, it is recommended to convert through Shadow of Themis draw prompt!
Tears for this Shadow of Themis have an expiration: when the event concludes, Tears of Themis <named> will be converted to Tears of Themis at a rate of 1:1, and Tears of Themis <Limited> will be converted to 
Stellin at a rate of 1:10,000. Converted resources will automatically be sent to your Mailbox and are valid for three days.[2]
Birthday
This type of Shadow of Themis only appears during Birthday Events.

Birthday-Limited Shadow of Themis features a limited-time rate-up of Birthday-limited SSR, of the male lead in focus. Two other SSR they feature in, are also present in the pool.

Every 90 draws in this Shadow of Themis will guarantee the birthday exclusive SSR. The guarantee count will be reset once the birthday exclusive SSR is drawn[3]. Guarantee count will carry over to the next Birthday-Limited Shadow of Themis.
