Summary

In a conference call, the team of four (now with the addition of Eric Umezaki) decide to reveal Luke as Sphynx to bait Daniel Song to action. Luke asks Ted Sadin and Aran Krall for help with this, since both were previously hired to find out Sphynx's identity. After Aran feeds the information to Oedipus, Eric arranges a large police operation in which Luke and the main character will search for evidence supposedly hidden at a company function, be trapped by those who want to hunt Sphynx, and distract all suspicious parties with their capture long enough to allow for their arrests.

Everything appears to go according to plan, with Luke and the MC being captured but quickly working themselves free, then waiting for the all clear from Eric, which they eventually receive. However, on the way out, they notice something is wrong and meet up with Eric off-plan. Eric has been shot and is in hiding, but he hands the key evidence to Luke and asks him to take it to the police. Luke stays to defend a helpless Eric, sending the evidence to the police station with the MC instead.
