Jill Meadows is the elderly live-in nanny of the Graye household. She requires crutches to walk, as well as hearing aid to hear. She never received an education, so she can't read at all.
Before she met Letha Graye, she was homeless and had trouble finding food and shelter. When Letha Graye hired her as a nanny, Jill Meadows considers it as a lifesaver.
Her grandson, Billy Chante, attended the same high school as Letha Graye and Angela Diggs. It is described that Jill Meadows loves her grandson so much and she blames herself for not being able to stop him from jumping to his death.[1]
She is considered as the only witness to Letha Graye's death. However, since her hearing aid was found in Letha Graye's room, she is suspected to have some involvement in the death of Letha Graye.
