Ava Kendricks is the owner of Denman Financial, a debt collection agency known for use of shady collection means such as harassment and threats. She is suspected of selling illegal drugs and was arrested for this three months prior to the events of Episode 6: A Vicious Cycle (Part 1), however no evidence has been found regarding her case.[2] She frequents Night Hunt from the 25th to the 30th every month.[3]
Ava is represented by a high-pressure lawyer from out of town, who has been working with her for many years and who has made detaining Kendricks a "major drain" on Stellis police resources.[2]
