Summary
Zachary Clarke finally tells the truth of how he learned of the gold riddle: while he was treating
Joshua Ott in prison, Joshua requested a library book about ancient Egypt and later returned it with a map of Nosta and false riddle on a handwritten note inside. Zachary immediately made time to visit Nosta, but he found the false riddle led to the otherwise empty cave where Joshua's gang members all died. Upon his return, he arranged Joshua's sentence commutation and their agreement to share the gold. During Zachary's tale, the trio arrives at the Night River.
