After Wilson leaves, Jerome speaks to an unidentified woman who was hiding under the table, reassuring her that she can escape and get a fresh start at the address on a note he hands her.
At a remote villa, Matthew Richter continues to threaten Vyn with a gun, gloating that Reina Richter has denied knowing Vyn and refused any ransom demand. Vyn's nonchalance irritates Matthew, but just as he's about to escalate the situation, a subordinate rushes in, stating that the president of Pax has arrived from a nearby beach party. Vyn moves to leave so that Matthew can entertain his guest; when Matthew blocks him once again, Vyn grabs the gun's muzzle and pulls the trigger himself.
