Summary

Marius takes the main character to a high-end jewelry store frequented by Sheldon Harrison and buys expensive limited-edition jewelry for the MC in an effort to get information from the store clerk. The ease with which Marius obtains the information brings to mind Sheldon's warnings about their difference in status, causing the MC to feel conflicted about their incompatibility. Later, the two discuss the case over dinner, as well as stories from Marius' childhood.
