Summary

Marius and the main character hide from a recently arrived Bryce Thatcher, who is shouting at Joshua Ott on the phone, threatening to turn him in to the police if he doesn't return to Bryce with a golden mask for "the immortal ritual." At dawn, when the sun hits the statue of the god of death, Bryce suffers a heart attack, and the pair rushes over to him to deliver first aid.
