Hyunda Finance
Hyunda Finance is a successful and reputable finance business in good standing owned by celebrity and socialite Daniel Song.[1]
Under its surface, Hyunda Finance has been found to have close ties with multiple other far less reputable businesses, including multiple loan trap companies, underground properties, and shell companies it uses to launder money. The SCPD's Economic Crimes Department has attempted multiple operations against the business, but Hyunda's legal department is especially strong, exploiting any flaw in a chain of evidence to evade charges or have them brought down to misdimeanors.[2]
Beddo Lending[edit | edit source]
Beddo lending is one of the loan trap companies that works closely with Hyunda Finance, though on paper, their inter-company dealings are plain enough that Hyunda cannot be implicated in Beddo's less legal activities, which have included:
- Loaning a debtor money, deliberately disappearing on the payment's due date in order to make repayment impossible, and then using late fees and breach of contract fees to increase the amount owed by a factor of 100 or more.[1]
- When repayment becomes impossible due to stacking fees and interest, forcing a debtor to re-loan with a different institution at an even higher rate.[1]
- Using information brokers such as Jae Gim to locate debtors who attempt to hide from harassment.[3]
- Falsifying evidence to get court judgments to repossess debtors' properties as collateral against the debt.[3]
- Blackmailing debtors by threatening to tell the police, family, and others associated with the debtor about the failure to pay.[4]
- Using the above threat to extort debtors into taking nude photos, then using those nude photos as further blackmail material.[4]
- Pressuring debtors to work off the debt at a KTV bar.[4]
Police suspended Beddo Lending's operations due to investigations arising from Nami Hidaka's accusations against them following the death of her sister.[3]
Waller Auction House[edit | edit source]
Waller Auction House is one of the ways through which Hyunda chairman Daniel Song manages the laundering of money from his less reputable ventures. High-level company employees are instructed to sell or purchase fake goods for exorbitant amounts of money, including signed footballs, antiques, oil paintings, old books, jewelry, and wine.[1]

Maple Lounge[edit | edit source]
A fortified base of operations. Despite appearing as an ordinary lounge, the multi-level facility is heavily guarded and well-equipped with security measures and thugs. Evidence is left on site as intentional bait, with the facility equipped enough to quietly dispose of anyone who attempts to collect it, even in organized police operations.[5] The lounge network is under surveillance to ensure no upload of sensitive information can occur.[6]
