Base Camp
By the time the staff member's report came around, the ferry had already reached land.
You all rush to the scene immediately after disembarking. Jack has already been pulled away by the staff.
Because of his physical exertion, blood seeps from the gunshot wound in his shoulder.
Joshua sits breathlessly on the ground, with two security personnel standing by him.
An assembled mass of treasure hunters watches them.
You: Jack, go get your wound bandaged by the doctor. Otherwise, it might impact your quality of life later.
Jack Barlow: Let go of me! Let me kill him! I have to avenge my father!
Marius: What happened? Didn't I tell you to separate them?
Marius: Where was security? How did the suspect get out?
Staff: Mr. von Hagen, Barlow came looking for Ott after hearing that he was in detention.
Staff: He's injured, so the security guards didn't dare stop him...
Vyn: Where is the doctor? Please take Mr. Barlow back for medical attention. He needs new sutures.
Artem: Jack, I know you want Joshua's life, but we agreed that I'd take care of this.

You all attempt to persuade Jack, but he refuses to leave.
His eyes are red and teary as he glares at Joshua.
Jack Barlow: Joshua Ott, you killed so many people and you destroyed my family! Go to hell!
Joshua Ott: Jack, can't you see? I'm safe now.
Joshua Ott: Even if you try to kill me, they're going to stop you.
Joshua Ott: Heheh, young one, come here...
Joshua provocatively juts his chin out towards Luke.
Joshua Ott: The answer to the riddle...
Luke is stunned for a moment, but then he immediately rushes over to Joshua and grabs his chin, as if he realizes what the man is up to.

To temporarily quell any rumors, you use the prize mentioned by the host to improvise your "act."

Marius: Indeed. For my next event, I'll need to add IQ as a screening criterion.
Marius: I don't want people like you stirring up trouble.
Marius clearly understands your intention. Joshua grows beet-red from hearing your words.
Suppressed by Luke, he can't do a single thing.
Artem: Jack, you want him to pay with his life. I can guarantee this for you.
Jack Barlow: R—Really!?
Artem: Yes. We already found decisive evidence of his crimes, and he is guilty of more than one homicide.
Artem: Your father's murder happened in Nosta, so the case falls under Nation A's jurisdiction.
