Lester Auction House

From Tears of Themis Wiki

Lester Auction House has been in the business of auctioning antiques, oil paintings, and artworks for over three decades.

In March of 2029[1], a scandal broke out, exposing the fact that Lester Auction House had been swapping auctioned items with counterfeits and selling the originals on the black market. The media claimed that Lawrence Myers, the owner of the business, demanded Van Kerrel, its appraiser, take responsibility for the scandal; Lawrence then became the prime suspect in the police investigation of Van Kerrel's death. The reputation of Lester Auction House then fell to rock bottom. [2]
