General[edit | edit source]

Bob Davis was a business owner in Stellis who came into recent success and money and fell victim to the Lester Auction House art-swapping scandal with his purchase of "Lake Tahoe."[1] When he tried to sell his recently acquired painting to cover a gambling debt, his haste caused his buyers to seek an independent appraisal, which was the act that uncovered the scandal.

Unable to keep up with his creditors' demands and unwilling to let them take his assets, Bob committed suicide by arson on January 7, 2029. He trapped his family inside the house, killing his wife and hospitalizing his son, Bobby Davis, with life-threatening severe burns.

Story[edit | edit source]

Bob was father not only to Bobby, but to Johnny Bailey, who was Bobby's twin brother who'd been stolen in a baby theft at one day old. Bob spent a great deal of effort looking for Johnny, confirming the relationship via paternity tests.[2] After finding Johnny, Bob invited him to join the family on his birthday to celebrate their reunion. Bob instead warned Bobby not to return home, committing the fateful arson that would allow Bobby to start a new life free from debt.[3]
