Summary

Artem and the main character discuss how to handle the adoption case; Artem believes Sherry Lamber may not be financially or mentally able to provide Lily Flores with the quality of life Lily deserves, but recalling how upset Lily was at not being able to go home with Sherry, the MC suggests Lily's preferences also be taken into account.

After the MC leaves Artem's office, he recalls the Introduction to the Psychology of Love and Attraction book given to him by Celestine Taylor so that he could pursue the MC more effectively, dismissing it as headache-inducing nonsense while still actively seeking to learn from it and ensuring he brings it home.
