Sherry Lamber is a former teacher at Stellis Orphanage who left its employ as a result of doxxing and cyberbullying connected to a fraudulent smear campaign against the facility. The cyberbullying caused Sherry to develop a severe mental illness; despite her recovery since the orphanage's name was cleared, the fact that it occurred hurt her chances to be approved to adopt a child at the orphanage with whom she shared a special bond, Lily Flores.[2] Sherry was approved to adopt Lily thanks to the work of Artem Wing and the Main Character in finding precedent for other cases in which the adopting guardian had recovered from mental illness.[3]
Sherry has more grey hair than befits her age, and her fingers are covered in a layer of calluses, leading observers to believe she may now work manual labor, perhaps at one of the farms located near the orphanage. She's also noted to patch her clothes rather than replace them, being apparently well-practiced with precise needlework, showing she's possibly from a financially unstable family.[4]
