Pedro Brooks came to Stellis City to attend Stellis University as one of Vernon Green's grant beneficiaries. Vernon felt a special attachment to Pedro due to Pedro's strong resemblance to his son, Peter Green. Pedro is said to have been extremely hard-working as a student, taking a part-time job at Penny's Comfort Foods and often staying late to study in the kitchen after work. After graduating from university, Pedro did not want to leave Stellis City or return to a manual labor job and took work with DeliCart, staying despite an extremely abusive and stressful work environment.

Story

The stress of Pedro's work at DeliCart led him to intentionally contaminate the water at Penny's Comfort Foods, leading to six cases of food poisoning for which a class-action lawsuit was filed. While Vernon was initially willing to take the blame and pay compensatory damages for the incident to continue to protect Pedro, the truth behind the incident came out at trial. Pedro was convicted and sentenced, but his testimony led to a lawsuit against DeliCart that successfully denied it of any further investors.
