Misc Location - Seaside Cafe.png

After running the seaside café for a while, you notice that although business is booming as expected...

The atmosphere feels completely different from last year's Winterwish Festival.

Hence, your group decides to use your breaks to think of ways to better incorporate the seaside theme.

Luke: Looks like most of our customers are on the younger side this time.

Artem: That's true. Younger people tend to vacation at the beach. Maybe it has to do with the location and season...

Marius: Then, why don't we decorate the store to cater to their tastes better?

You: I think the interior decor is already pretty unique. Maybe we can put more things around the door?

Vyn: Why not use this idea as a basis to discuss our own suggestions?

Everyone nods affirmatively when when they hear Vyn's idea.

Luke: I think we can put up some balloons and colorful flags near the door to liven up the atmosphere.

You: Yeah! It'll be more attention-grabbing if we use the cartoon balloons.

Luke: Yup. We could also use some flags that bring out the seaside charm.

Artem: Apart from that, we can also put a cardboard cutout of a cartoon character near the door for photo opportunities.

Artem: Since HoYoLand is sponsoring the event this year, we should be able to negotiate the use of Homu's image.

You: That would be awesome! Homu is really popular with kids, so it might get us more customers.

Artem: Right, I agree.

Marius: I didn't take you for someone who's still a kid at heart, Artem. Is that the legendary gap moe?

Artem: If you insist on making that connection... Well, I won't deny it.

Marius wasn't expecting Artem to outright admit it, and a wide smile splits his face.

Marius: Ahem... alrighty then.

He clears his throat and walks to the area where the notices are placed near the door alongside some potted plants.

Marius: I think we can put a message tree here for customers to leave messages on.

You: That's a good idea! We can collect them all and read them after the event is over. I think it'd be really impactful.

You turn to Vyn, who hasn't said anything the entire time, only to see him enraptured by a fake plant.

His brow furrows ever so slightly as he absent-mindedly plays with the flower petals.

You: Do you have any ideas in mind, Dr. Richter?

Vyn: Me? I wish to swap out all these fake flowers for real ones.

Luke: But there isn't much of a variety of flowers to choose from this near to the sea, right?

Vyn: That will not pose an issue. I shall make the arrangements.

Vyn: Since we have already decided on re-decorating the place, we should not settle for fake items.

You: (Dr. Richter seems particularly adamant about the flowers.)

You: That's not a bad idea. We could also turn any spare flowers we have into garlands to decorate the back of the chairs.

Vyn: My thoughts exactly.

After you've all agreed on how to re-decorate the place, you immediately set off to make it a reality.

Finally, through the combined efforts of all five of you, the area near the doors of the seaside café has been completely redecorated.

Amidst the crisp and loud calls of the seagulls, you place the "Open" sign at the door.

You: Voilà!

You: All we did was to add some decorations. Who would've thought that it'd create a completely different vibe?

Marius: Of course. After all, this is the fruit of our teamwork.

Artem: Looks like we have customers coming this way.

Sure enough, following Artem's gaze, you see two familiar figures.

You hear the topic of their conversation as they walk closer.

???: By the way, Ms. Gibson, you said that she's taken a liking to... what was it again...? Sparkling coffee?

You: (This voice is familiar. Don't tell me...)

Gibson: Yes, Ms. Rosworth said sparkling coffee is very refreshing around this time of year.

William Lewis: Did you tell Howard about it by chance?

Gibson: No. I haven't seen Mr. Syter for the past few days.

William Lewis: Good! Seems like I'm in the lead this time.

Gibson: This is the place, Mr. Lewis. Ms. Rosworth particularly likes the sparkling coffee from this shop.

You: (Rumor has it that both Mr. Lewis and Mr. Syter have feelings for Ms. Rosworth. It looks like...)

*Ding—!* The wind chime rings at this precise moment.

Soon, these two people are no longer disembodied voices. They have now stepped into the shop.

You: Welcome. What would you like to order?

William Lewis: Hi. I'd like two cups of sparkling coffee and...

William Lewis: Wait, it's you!? And Artem? Why are you here? Are you two changing careers?

You: Oh no, please don't misunderstand. We're just participating in a charity event.

As you explain the situation, you give a copy of the pop-up café's promotional flyer to William Lewis.

William Lewis: I see... I think I heard about you doing this before.

William Lewis: Looks like Ingrid was right. It seems that you folks don't have that much work over at Themis.

Artem: ...

Marius: Why are you talking about her all the time, Mr. Lewis? Could the rumors about your crush on Ms. Rosworth be true?

William Lewis: Wha- you... Who did you hear that baseless rumor from?

Marius: Baseless rumor? Really? The lawyer doth protest too much...

William Lewis: You... I'm not here to argue about this with you. I want to order.

You: (Nicely done, Marius!)

William Lewis: And add on a white grape mousse cake and an ocean breeze swiss roll.

William finishes the order as he pretends to keep cool. He then turns to Ms. Gibson as if he remembered something.

William Lewis: Right. What would you like, Ms. Gibson?

Gibson: I'd like one seaside shaved ice.

Gibson: By the way, everyone loved the afternoon tea you guys made during the Winterwish Festival...

Gibson: So, Ms. Rosworth is thinking about having you cater the afternoon tea for the Baldr Legal Office's teambuilding activity.

William Lewis: What? They made the afternoon tea last time?

Gibson: Yes. If I remember correctly, you said it was really delicious.

William Lewis: That's because she ordered it...

In the end, Ms. Gibson provided you with a detailed order and booked a delivery time and location.

Since their firm will be spending three days at the beach, you realize you'll be earning quite a lot of money from this venture after conducting thorough calculations.

You: But we're going to have less time to rest.

Artem: Well, it is for charity. The more business we get, the more we can donate. That's a good thing.

Luke: Yeah. As long as the five of us are together, small issues like this will be a piece of cake.

Vyn: Not to mention that some things on the menu can be made in bulk, which helps save time.

Marius: That's right. Solutions will always outnumber problems. Don't worry about it, Miss.

Marius: Come on, let's dig into this big order.

You: ...Right.

The sea breeze is gentle and the waves slowly roll in, bringing various seashells with them...

And you plan out your future ventures in this seaside café.
