When a call finally goes through, Luke refuses to see her, relating a story about a time he pretended to be sick so the MC would care for him, causing her ostracism from a group of friends. He tries to send her home, but she refuses and realizes he must be hiding somewhere he can see her. She finds Luke in a nearby alley and discusses his regrets before [[Aaron Yishmir]] arrives and sends him for a full physical exam. Aaron then escorts the MC home and explains the incident at [[First People's Hospital]] that led to Luke's illness.<br /><br />
