Summary
The
main character searches for
Luke. When a call finally goes through, Luke refuses to see her, relating a story about a time he pretended to be sick so the MC would care for him, causing her ostracism from a group of friends. He tries to send her home, but she refuses and realizes he must be hiding somewhere he can see her. She finds Luke in a nearby alley and discusses his regrets before
Aaron Yishmir arrives and sends him for a full physical exam. Aaron then escorts the MC home and explains the incident at
First People's Hospital that led to Luke's illness.
Back at his home that night, Luke receives an unknown drug and a note from
Oedipus with the note "try to live on."
