When the train arrives in Shanya, you follow Marius to explore the resort.

As soon as you two enter the resort entertainment area, you spot a young man dressed in traditional Tambyani attire waving at you from a far distance away.

???: Greetings, Mr. von Hagen, Miss [Player]. I've been expecting you. I hope your trip here went smoothly?

The young man greets you warmly.

???: My name is Akha, and I am in charge of the Rainforest Project. Welcome to Tambyani.

You: Nice to meet you.

Marius: Akha is a rainforest expert that Pax specially hired. He knows everything going on with the rainforest.

Marius: Didn't you say you wanted to know more about the Rainforest Program? You can ask him.

Akha: Mr. von Hagen, you are too kind. Thanks to Pax's support, I have the opportunity to take charge of my dream project.

Akha: If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will try my best to answer.

The Rainforest Program

You: Can you tell me about this "Rainforest Program"?

Akha: Well, the Pax Group and some of Tambyani's government officials made an agreement to establish a rainforest nature reserve.

Akha: Its main purposes are to revitalize the rainforest's economy and to protect rare plant species.

Akha: The entire conservation project is collectively known as the "Rainforest Program."

Parrot flowers

You: Hmm... What's the "parrot flower" project? Is it related to the Rainforest Program?

Akha: Parrot flowers are a rare plant that we happened to discover.

Akha: Their rhizomes contain a special alkaloid that are effective for many medical maladies, so they have high medicinal value.

Akha: The rainforest had previously suffered ecological damage and resource theft, so we thought that it had become extinct.

Akha: Everyone's been thrilled that we found the parrot flowers.

Akha: I hope we can better understand their unique properties and use the latest scientific developments to facilitate their growth.

You: I want to see these parrot flowers with my own eyes!

Marius: You can. I'll take you to see some in a few days.

Conservation plan

You: Are you allowed to talk about the plans for the reserve?

Akha: Right now, we're planning for an ecological entertainment zone and a nature reserve.

Akha: The ecological entertainment zone will focus on ecological preservation and tourism. We want to attract people to Tambyani so they can appreciate our rainforests.

Akha: The nature reserve is meant to protect rare plant species native to the rainforest. There will be limited tours to increase awareness about environmental protection.

Akha: However, things are still in the planning phase. Changes might happen at any time in the future.

You: Still, hearing all of this is so exciting.

You: Once everything's finished, I feel like this place will be bursting with visitors.

Rainforest's economy

You: You said something about the rainforest's economy...?

Akha: Its main focuses are expanding rainforest tourism projects and investing in sustainable sources of income.

Akha: If the economy does well, then the locals will be more motivated to collaborate with us on future projects.

You: (Feels like Pax is aiming for a big project in Tambyani.)

Marius: All right, that's it for introductions. Why don't we start our tour?

Right... You were so absorbed in the conversation that you nearly forgot the reason you're here.

You: Okay, let's go! Let's check out the resort's entertainment area!

Marius: Yeah. We're here on vacation!
