After bidding the project manager farewell, you and Marius visit the resort.

You two take a walk in the resort's rainforest ecological park to catch a glimpse of what the rainforest will have to offer.

You: The actual rainforest must be even more beautiful, huh?

Marius: Well, the Imana Rainforest is known as the green pearl of Tambyani. It's the most beautiful place in the entire country.

Marius: In two days, we'll be able to witness its charm for ourselves.

You: I've been wanting to ask... Is Pax Technology substantially connected to the Tambyani rainforest reserve project?

Marius: Oh? Why do you ask?

You: You're usually really busy. If it wasn't important, you wouldn't come here personally to inspect things.

Marius: This project never really needed me to personally come over, but...

You: (So you just wanted to have fun with me?)

Marius: I thought it'd be nice to use these two days to give you a fun holiday.

Your guess was spot-on.

You: Marius... Be careful, or else you'll get an earful from the board when you return.

Marius: Miss, are you worried about me?

Marius's voice is spirited, and his eyes twinkle with a hint of mischief.

You know how he ticks — he's waiting for you to deny it so he can tease you.

Hmph, you won't let him get his way that easily!

You: Yeah, I'm "worried" that you'll get spanked by those old guys when you go back.

You: When that happens, don't come crying to me.

Marius: Huh?!

Eyes wide with surprise, Marius is slack-jawed and fumbling for something to say.

After a brief pause of two or three seconds, he tactically coughs and clears his throat.

Marius: Well... We're going to Mangrove Park tomorrow. How about we return to the train early and get some rest?

It's very rare to see Marius at a complete loss for words. Time permitting, you want to see a few more minutes of that spectacle.

But he's right. It really is getting late.

Thinking about the schedule tomorrow, you decide to spare him for now.

You: Sure, sounds good. Let's head back.

Marius is obviously relieved at hearing your words. His usual smile situates itself back on his face again.
