You: Where should I go...

The sun warms the house on a lovely afternoon. You bask in the sun as you browse through travel guidebooks with Luke on the sofa.

After having closed a few big cases this year, a period of peace has finally graced the law firm.

Celestine had arranged for everyone to go on a holiday to rest and recover.

Luke: It's such a hard-earned vacation. How about we take a trip to somewhere far?

You: Agreed. I just don't really have any destination in mind.

You want to make good use of such a hard-earned vacation, but despite flipping through a variety of travel guides, nothing really stood out to you.

Luke: [Player], do you want to go to Tambyani?

You: Why the sudden mention of Tambyani? It sounds like a very remote location...

Your impression of Tambyani was of a remote tropical country where people seldom visited.

Luke: There's a new scenic rail tour in Tambyani where you can enjoy the scenery of the beautiful savanna just by riding on the train.

Luke tells you about it while flipping through the travel guidebooks.

Luke: There will be free time at each stop. We can choose to participate in the activities we're interested in.

You: Sounds interesting!

You: Let me see... The package includes a savanna culture experience, and you can also experience what it's like to be a native there... Oh! They even have animal interactions!

The tropical savanna, filled with a wide variety of wildlife, and brilliant native cultures...

You are instantly drawn by the novelty of the idea and are suddenly filled with anticipation.

You: Let's go on this scenic rail tour in Tambyani!

Luke: As always, just leave the travel planning to me! All you have to do is to wait and enjoy this holiday of yours!

After deciding on the destination, together you take the plane to Tambyani.

You: ...We're finally here.

The plains roast under the scorching sun and the warm wind breezes past your cheeks, bringing with it the smell of earth.

This place was completely different from the usual hustle and bustle of the city.

You: When can we see the savanna, Luke?

You: I want to see elephants, antelopes, and giraffes!

Luke: Be patient. According to the schedule, the train will only stop near the actual savanna on the second day.

Luke plops a straw hat on your head.

Luke: Put on the straw hat. Don't get sunburned.

Luke: Also, be sure to follow closely after me during our free time later. Otherwise...

You: Okay, okay. I've got it. You've said this multiple times on the plane.

You: I'll follow you closely, Mr. Tour Guide. Don't worry, yeah?

Luke: I promise to give you the best and most comfortable vacation, my Watson.

Luke looks at the travel plan on his phone, which he made with you before the trip.

You suddenly think of something important as he browses through the plan.

You: By the way, didn't you get a case? Shall we ask around and see if there's any information we can glean?

While you were making travel plans, a small incident happened.

A rich businessman hired Luke to find the whereabouts of a precious golden diamond.

He paid a large deposit to a mining company for it, only for the person in charge to disappear upon receiving the lump sum.

Worried that he'd been conned, the businessman was driven to desperation and had no choice but to ask Luke to help him find the diamond.

And it just so happens that the place where the diamond went missing is our destination, Tambyani.

Luke: Nah, no worries. I'm still waiting for the client to send me the details.

Luke: So let's talk about the case later and stick to our travel plans.

Luke: C'mon. Let's enjoy the holiday.

You: Yeah, you're right.

You: ...Is this the station where the rail trip starts?

The train station roof is supported by steel while the glass roof ensures the platform is lit up by the ample sunlight filtering in.

The sun shines in through the glass, casting a halo on the crowd of bustling tourists down below.

A faint whistle is accompanied by a rhythmic tremor, which immediately piques the curiosity of the tourists, making heads turn.

Everyone is looking forward to the start of this journey, and so are you.

You: (I didn't expect the station to look this stunning.)

Luke: The train's here. It will depart in 60 minutes, which means we have an hour of free time to spare.

Luke: What do you want to do?

You: Any suggestions, Mr. Tour Guide?

Luke: Well... We can visit the villages outside the station or the dining area on the train. It's your call.

Walk around

You: Let's go for a walk in the village. We can experience the local customs.

Luke: I remember there's a Tambyani snack made of cassava in this village. It's quite famous. We can try it.

You: Oh... Is that also part of your plans?

Luke: The more detailed a travel plan, the better.

Luke: We can just come back before the train leaves. The timing is perfect. Let's go.

You: Okay!

Go to the dining and entertainment area

You: Let's get on the train and settle the luggage first so that we can walk around in peace.

You: According to the guide you wrote, there are some delicious pepper scones served on the train. Shall we go try it out?

Luke: I heard the pepper scones are best served with black pepper sauce. Let's order a black pepper grill platter too.

You: Let's go! Let's execute our gourmet plan!

And this is how your Tambyani train ride tour officially starts.
