Shanya
The broad and simple streets with short and sturdy wooden cottages constitute the first scenic landscape to greet your eyes.
There are people of different skin tones and dress walking on the street.
As the central city of Tambyani, Shanya City feels very inclusive.
Luke: Our first stop. Where do you want to start?
You were already thinking about this on the train.
There were too many scenic spots listed in the online guide. It's impossible to do everything in one day.
Why don't you ask a local? That might make things easier.
You: Shall we ask the locals and see what they'd recommend?
Luke: Sure. There is a tourist center up ahead. Let's head there.
When you walk into the tourist center, a middle-aged tour guide in a vest receives you.
Tour Guide: Hello, what can I do for you?
He's looks very serious, but his tone is welcoming enough.
You: Hello. Can you give us some travel advice?
Tour Guide: Sure. Where do you want to go? I can give you some recommendations.
You: Can you tell us about some popular special attractions in Shanya?
Tour Guide: There are so many! The Artificial Beach, Folk Custom Street, Shanya Museum, and the Recreational Business District... They're all fantastic.
Tour Guide: But I think the Folk Custom Street and the Shanya Museum are the most unique ones here.
You: Is there anything fun to do on Folk Custom Street?
Tour Guide: There are lots of local cultural activities that you can experience along with many traditional souvenir stores. That place is an absolute blast, and it's very educational.
