Script
With the event in progress, Marius is the most important gimmick, having been invited by the Pax marketing department for a "business" interview.
You watch from a distance as he stands in the spotlight in a well-tailored suit, deftly answering every question.
With a round of applause, Marius is replaced by another important attendee at the event, Blaine Marshall.
Marius is then escorted away by Vincent. You originally intended to go to him, but the huge crowd makes it difficult to get through.
You: (Looks like the combined influence of the Pax president and the boutique owner is immense.)
Just as you start to think you can only watch from a distance as Marius leaves, a hand suddenly grabs your waist, leading you away from the crowd.
A familiar scent lingers around you, forming an invisible barrier, as you subconsciously grab the person's shirt in front of you.
You: Mar...
Marius: Shhh!
Marius puts a finger to your lips, motioning for you to be silent.
You: What is it?
Marius: Let's get out of here while everyone is focused on Blaine.
Without waiting for an answer, Marius takes you by the hand and carefully leads you away from the crowd.
President's Office
You expect Marius to take you to the lounge, but instead, the two of you arrive at his office.
He even locks the door, evidently not planning to return any time soon.
You: Why did we come back to your office? Are you not participating in the live event?
Marius: No, and I won't participate in this type of event ever again.
You: Why not?
Marius glances at you, then sighs helplessly.
Marius: Because I hate being forced to run an event like this. And it's taken up so much of my time that we haven't had a date in a while...
You try to contain your laughter, knowing that Marius is just being cute again, and decide to play along.
You take a big step forward and put your arms around his neck, not missing the flash of astonishment in his eyes.
You: That's true. I'm also worried that if this continues, our feelings might even start to fade...
Perhaps not expecting you to say that, Marius looks at you, surprised. He wants to refute you, but you press your lips against his.
You: So, if you don't have anything else planned for today, can you spend the rest of the day making it up to me?
Marius: ...
Marius: Of course. From this moment on, I'm yours for the rest of the day.
You: What shall we do then?
Hearing your question, Marius winks at you and exclaims...
Marius: First, dinner at M-Star, then a movie. If we have time afterward, we can go to the hot springs. What do you think?
You: Sounds perfect. But I think it's difficult to get a reservation at M-Star. We probably won't be able to get one so last minute.
Marius: Yeah, probably not. Good thing I already made arrangements, including the movie tickets and the hot springs.
He already made arrangements? It's only after the fact that you realize something is off.
You: Marius... did you plan all of this?
Marius: Yup. You finally realized.
You: You...
Marius pulls you into his arms before you can say anything.
Marius: Sorry I kept you waiting for so long. That's why I made preparations to make it up to you.
You: Marius...
Marius: It's getting late. We should head out. Otherwise, we won't make it to the hot springs tonight.
You: All right.
