Overview

Environmental Issues Protection: A number of middle school students in Stellis reported having eye discomfort, dermatitis, and other symptoms. After investigation, the land area being excavated next to the school used to be the site of a chemical plant with large amounts of pollutants remaining. The excavation caused air and groundwater pollution, and the school repeatedly asked the excavators to deal with the pollutants to no avail. The school has now taken the excavators to court.
