South Dock Warehouse 86
After opening the door of Warehouse No. 86 with the key, you are overwhelmed by the dust and moldy scent that comes from within...
Everyone quickly covers their mouths and noses with one hand while waving the other to disperse the dust particles...
You: *Cough, cough*... Looks like nobody has been here in a long time.
Marius: Yeah... Boss Li is too careless. This place doesn't look like a private warehouse in every sense of the word.
Luke: I agree.
Artem: The place is pretty dirty. Let's push our way through and look around.
Vyn: Yes, whatever the circumstances, finding the piece or clues is the most important thing.
With everyone in agreement, you split up to search the warehouse.
You: There seems to be some space behind that column and the folding screen...
You: Shall we go take a look?
Luke: Sure.
Marius: I'm coming too.
Marius: Hmph, it's just some old costumes and stuff. Nothing else.
Luke: Yeah, the most valuable thing here is probably this crown.
Luke: But it has no use to us.
You: ...Guess we'll just have to look elsewhere.
Artem: Ordinary props and weapons used in opera productions...
Artem: Nothing special here.
Vyn: The sheer amount of props here... It seems like Boss Li was rather fond of opera.
Vyn: Little Boss, did you find anything?
You: Nothing... It's all a bunch of unimportant stuff.
You: We should look elsewhere.
You: We've searched everywhere, but we haven't found anything.
Luke: Is there a detail we missed, or something we might have overlooked?
Artem: But we've examined everything we can see in here. We didn't miss anything.
Vyn: After eliminating all impossibilities, there is only one possibility left...
Vyn: There is a place we have yet to search.
Marius: Hmph, where would it be? The sky?
You: The sky?
Marius' words seem to flip a switch in your mind, and you look up at the ceiling.
The other four look up as well... Something is hidden within the shadows of the ceiling beam.
You: ...Indeed, there is a place we have yet to search.
You: "The sky."
Luke: Looks like it's my turn to shine again.
Luke instructs the others to hold a wooden screen beside the weapon rack so he can use it to climb up onto the beam for inspection.
With the sound of a board being pushed open, it seems Luke had discovered the wooden box.
He lands on the floor with the wooden box firmly in his arms, patting the dust off his body.
Luke: Got it. Here you go, Little Boss.
You: Thanks...
You receive the wooden box from Luke, an uneasiness rising in your heart.
Is the last piece really in here?
The journey to uncover its secret... has been going too well, hasn't it?
Marius: Little Boss, are you not gonna open it?
Marius' words pull you from your thoughts. You nod at the rest of the group, then take a deep breath.
You: Yeah, I'm just about to...
The wooden box opens with a click, revealing the final model piece of the Li Hotel.
You: It's really the final piece!
Vyn: Now that it's found, we should head back.
Artem: Yes, we shouldn't stay here for long.
You: All righ—
Before you can finish, three hooks break through the window, flying straight at the five of you.
The other four dodge out of the way immediately. You, on the hand, lose the wooden box to a fourth hook that flies out of nowhere.
You: !!!
Luke: They stole it! After them!
South Dock Area
Rushing out of the warehouse, you spot four figures all running in different directions.
Marius: Hmph, running away after stealing from us... is that all they know how to do?
Vyn: Now is not the time for that. We must pursue them.
You: But they all went in different directions... Who should we chase?
Artem: The person running toward the north. I noticed a parking area up ahead.
Artem: Judging by how large the South Dock Area is, he shouldn't have gotten far on foot.
Luke: Let's go!
