The Rest Area of Marius' Studio
When you walk into the studio with Marius' cake, the paint in his toolbox on the table had just been used up.
As he watches you walk in, Marius puts down the brush in his hand and looks at you with a smile.
Marius: When did you come? Why didn't you ask me to pick you up?
You: No way! How could I make the birthday boy pick me up?
You look around but don't see your DIY toolbox anywhere.
You: (Looks like he hasn't found it yet.)
You originally wanted to bring Marius' cake and present together, but you changed your mind last night...
You: Finally — it's done!
You: Besides the cake I ordered and the hand-painted box... should I add a card?
You begin searching on your phone for a store that can deliver a custom order tonight. Suddenly, a notification pops up.
You: "Planning for your boyfriend the best birthday ever"?
Even though you know deep down that it's just a useless advertisement, you tap on it nonetheless.
You: Hmm, that's no good. This one... is fine, but time is running out.
After locking your phone, you collapse on the bed.
You: I knew that the recommendations from influencers wouldn't be reliable... Do I still have time to order a card? Ah...
While you were rolling around on the bed, you accidentally knock a notepad off the bedside table.
You quickly pick it up, only to find the list of Marius' childhood dreams written on it...
You check them one by one. Finally, your eyes fix on one item: "I want to go on a treasure hunt in the mountains with my friends."
You: A treasure hunt in the mountains? This is the only one left...
You: (Maybe not in the mountains, but a treasure hunt... is still doable.)
6:00 AM
After looking around to make sure no one is coming, you hide the wrapped box in a unique spot.
You: Good thing I came early... It's time to pick up the cake soon. I should collect it first.
You gently close the door when you make your way out and silently pray in your heart as you look at the studio...
You: (I hope Marius won't find it easily...)

You and Marius begin the treasure hunt. To prolong the search, you deliberately give him many incorrect hints...
You aren't entirely sure if Marius is trying to delight you or if he really can't find it. In any case, you two search for quite some time.
Finally, he finds the present tucked away in a corner. It's a small box hidden among Marius' childhood paintings.
Marius: I really didn't expect you to hide it here...
He picks up the box carefully and motions you over.
As you walk up to Marius, he reaches out and takes your hand, placing it on the present together.
Marius: Since we found it together, let's open it together... Miss.
You: ...Sure.
You feel slightly embarrassed, as Marius holds your hand and opens the present with you.
Sitting quietly inside the gift wrap is the DIY wooden toolbox you made for him...
Marius' eyes become gentler as he looks at the box intently.
You: Is... it too mediocre?
Marius: No. I love it... as long as it's from you.
Marius: If I were to say that, does it make you feel like I am saying it to please you and not appreciating your effort?

Marius stares at the box quietly without saying a word. It makes you feel a little nervous.
Just when you are about to wonder if the rose looks too much like a hibiscus, he finally interrupts your train of thought.
