The audience's applause sustains for a long time. While you're disappointed, you can't help but feel a sense of admiration at the bottom of your heart.
You: (The opponents in the final are really extraordinary. The game just started, and they've already run the table.)
You: (But now that we've come this far, we won't back down either!)
Your train of thought is interrupted by the calm applause next to you. You turn around and see that Artem is also applauding the opponents to sincerely congratulate them.
Artem: That play just now was amazing. What do you think?
You: Yeah, it was great! But it looks like the game today isn't going to be easy.
Artem: Are you worried about that? Don't overthink it.
Artem: Rather than worrying about winning or losing, I hope you can enjoy the game itself.
Artem: Relax and focus on each shot. We've been practicing for so long — everything will be fine.
Your hands are clasped in secret under the table, and they shake gently with Artem's movement. The relaxing motion takes you far away from the stress of the competition.
Even so, Artem's gaze is scorching. His calm words are like the encouragement he gives you before every court session.
You: (Artem is right. I shouldn't have too many distracting thoughts in my mind.)
You: (There's only one final step left before we win the copy of "History of International Law," but the first priority is to focus on the tournament itself.)
You: I know! From now on, I won't focus on anything other than playing with you.
