Artificial Lake of the Tea Park
After feeding the birds in the Tea Park, Marius and you take a walk by an artificial lake in a remote location.
A few tourists are sitting or lying on the lawn along the lake, enjoying the warm, southern sunshine.
You: The scenery is also wonderful here, but I didn't see anything in the brochure about this place.
Marius: Hmm... maybe because artificial lakes can be seen anywhere? That's probably why this place wasn't marked as a scenic spot.
You: Really... But I think this artificial lake is also awesome!
???: *sigh*...
You: Hey, over there...
Out of the corner of your eye, you notice an old woman swaying by the lake.
Marius: What's wrong?
You: An old woman is standing on a slope near the lake. I'm worried she might fall into the water.
Marius: She seems to be looking for something. If you're worried, why don't we offer her our help?
Marius: Excuse me, ma'am, are you looking for something?
Old Lady: Ah... no. I'm just... trying to find my way...
You: Are you lost?
Old Lady: No... when my husband was alive, we used to come here for walks together... There was a hidden path...

Old Lady: I spent some time in a nursing home after he passed away. However, I decided to leave and revisit those places where my husband and I once went together...
Old Lady: That hidden path... was a unique memory for us. But...

Looking at the silhouette of the old lady walking away, you sigh.
You: She must miss her husband so much...
Marius: I can understand her feelings. If you disappeared someday, I would be more devastated than she was just now.
You: ...I won't disappear, and I will always be with you. I promise.
Marius: Okay, let's pinky promise. I won't disappear either.
Unsure if the promise will be realized, you two still make a pinky promise.
After the pinky promise, you and Marius naturally hold hands as Marius leads you forward.
You and Marius leave a fresh trail of footprints in the grass, blowing gently in the wind.
New footprints always cover up traces of the past. However, the precious memories will remain forever in your heart.
