The doctor seems to have something on his mind. Ask him about it.

Dr. Miller: This situation... is somewhat troublesome...

You: Dr. Miller, you look troubled... Did something happen?

Dr. Miller: Oh, Miss [Player], perfect timing. I need your help.

Dr. Miller: Do you remember those shadows you previously mentioned?

You: Yeah, I remember those shadows... Is there anything special about them?

Dr. Miller: No, but something unusual seems to be happening in the dining carriage aside from the shadows.

Dr. Miller: For example, the lights that automatically turn off during the day suddenly turn on, or the record player unexpectedly plays odd voices...

Dr. Miller: Hans has come to me several times asking if these phenomena have anything to do with the occult.

Dr. Miller: But as you know, I cannot leave the exhibition...

You can hear a faint helplessness in Dr. Miller's words.

You: So you're... hoping that I can check it out and record these strange phenomena?

Dr. Miller: You're sharp, Miss [Player]. Indeed, I can only trust you with this.

You: No problem. Leave it to me.

Dr. Miller: Thank you. Please head to the dining carriage.

Go to the dining carriage and document the various phenomena.

As soon as you enter the dining carriage, Hans runs up to you.

Hans: Miss [Player]! Did Dr. Miller ask you to come?

You: Yeah... Dr. Miller has to stay in the exhibition, so he asked me to check on the situation in the dining carriage.

Hans: That's great. I knew that Dr. Miller wouldn't give up on us...

You: So can you tell me what happened?

Hans: Sure.

From Hans's description, you find out that the strange phenomena happening recently have been taxing to them.

They have inspected the various devices several times, confirming nothing is wrong with them...

But in order to not affect the passengers' moods and dining experiences, they can only claim that the devices are under maintenance...

Hans: That's what happened, and that's why we wanted to ask Dr. Miller... to see if it has something to do with the occult.

You: So that's how it is. I understand.

Hans: That's great! Let's stay in the dining carriage and see if we can spot anything out of the ordinary.

Hans: Miss [Player], what did you find?

You: Let me have a look...

Right answer (The sofa and piano disappeared)

Hans: The number of anomalies has increased... I don't know what to tell the passengers.

Hans rubs his ears in distress, just as the record player in the corner emits an odd sound.

After a brief pause, the charming melody returns.

But in that few seconds, something happens inside the dining carriage...

You: !!!

You: The strange place I just saw... disappeared?

Hans: What? Let me see!

Wrong answer

You: Did I mess up somewhere?

You: I need to take a closer look.

After looking around, there is a look of surprise on Hans's face as he speaks with a trembling voice.

Hans: Miss [Player], look. The table by the bar and long couch... aren't there more glasses than usual!?

You: Eh? Let me see...

Right answer (6)

You: The number of glasses... is wrong?

Hans: Definitely wrong! There are normally only three glasses here...

You: When the strange phenomenon disappeared... the glasses appeared out of thin air.

You: Do the strange anomalies happen this frequently?

Hans looks down in deep thought, then turns to you.

Hans: No.

Before getting into the details, there is a commotion in the dining carriage.

Wrong answer

You: Did I miscount...?

You: I need to take a closer look.

For some reason, passengers start to get agitated, while others begin muttering nonsense...

Hans: Well...

You: Could it be that strange things... are happening to the passengers this time?

At the mention of passengers, Hans's expression becomes even more distressed.

Hans: Miss [Player], now's not the time to worry about the anomalies.

Hans: Can you help me confirm how many passengers are exhibiting strange behaviors?

Hans: I need to report it to the conductor...

Hans: If we don't take care of this in time, the passengers will think there's something wrong with the food in the dining carriage.

You: Sure, I'll help you count.

Right answer (3)

Hans: Thank you, Miss [Player]. I don't know what I would've done without you.

Hans: Then I'll go find the conductor.

You: Okay, go.

Wrong answer

You: Which passengers did I miss?

You: I need to take a closer look.

Hans exchanges a few words with the other crew members in the dining carriage before leaving in a hurry.

After a while, Simon follows Hans back to the dining carriage to take care of business.

No more strange phenomena happen in the dining carriage after those passengers recover...

You: What happened in the dining carriage was so strange. I should tell Dr. Miller about it.

Exhibition Room: Bizarre Carriage Phenomena (3)

Inform the doctor about the situation in the dining carriage.

Dr. Miller: Miss [Player], how's the situation in the dining carriage? I heard quite the commotion over there...

You: As a matter of fact, many strange things did happen...

Dr. Miller frowns more and more as you tell him everything that happened in the dining carriage.

Dr. Miller: I didn't think it was this serious...

Dr. Miller: How are the passengers doing?

You: They're all fine.

You: Simon keeps apologizing to them...

Dr. Miller: It can't be helped.

Dr. Miller: We cannot disclose information that we are uncertain of to the passengers.

You: Then... do you know why these phenomena are happening?

You: I'm concerned that it might get worse...

Dr. Miller: My intuition tells me that these situations might be connected to the crystals, but there is no way to know for sure.

Dr. Miller: Let me think about it.

You: Yeah.
