Ask the doctor about Bakerlon Crystals.

Dr. Miller: Hello, Miss [Player]. Here for the exhibit again?

You: Yeah, after learning more about the Bakerlon crystals, every visit feels like a different experience.

Dr. Miller: Haha, the charm of the crystals is endless. The more you know, the more fascinated you will be.

Dr. Miller: Speaking of which... You've become quite knowledgeable about Bakerlon crystals, right?

You: ...I know a thing or two.

You: But I'm still not getting any signal on the train, and the information available is limited... So I...

Before you can finish, Dr. Miller nods to show that he understands.

Dr. Miller: I just heard that one of the passengers is very familiar with the history of Bakerlon crystals. He's been going around teaching other passengers about them...

Dr. Miller: He especially likes to walk around in the corridors. If you're interested, you can go find him.

You: Really? I haven't heard anything about this passenger.

Dr. Miller: Haha, I heard this passenger has a flamboyant personality and doesn't like to be interrupted.

Dr. Miller: Be careful when you go talk to him.

You: Understood. Thanks, Dr. Miller.

See if that passenger in the corridor is giving a history introduction.

When you reach the corridor of the luxury carriages, you spot a familiar figure by the window.

You: Marius?

Marius: [Player]?

You: What are you doing here? Resting?

Marius: Yeah, it gets uncomfortable sitting in my room for too long. So I thought I'd take a walk.

Marius: How about you? Coming back from the exhibition?

You: You caught me... Dr. Miller asked me for help.

Marius: With what?

You: Well...

You explain to Marius everything that happened.

Marius: I see. I didn't expect such a strange passenger to be on the train.

Marius: Hey, wait. Is that the person you're looking for?

Marius points to a man in a hat talking loudly nearby.

You: I think so. I'm interested in what he has to say.

Marius: Well, since I'm taking a break, I'll come along. Who knows? Maybe I can help out.

You: Eh? How can you help?

Marius: Well, you'll just have to wait and see.

[Begin Observation Event]

Passenger: Allow me to tell you about its history,

Passenger: These Bakerlon crystals were only for the royal family to use!

Passenger: They would grind them into powder and pour it on their faces.

Passenger: Doing so would not only prolong their life, but also extend their youth forever!

Passenger: How do I know all this? Hehe, that's a secret!

Passenger: These passengers aren't curious.

Passenger: Are my anecdotes not alluring enough...?

Passenger: I bet you didn't think of that!

Passenger: Bakerlon crystals ground to dust can be ingested!

Passenger: As for its effects, it makes a fool wise.

Passenger: What I'm saying is the truth. It's not gossip.

[End Observation Event]

You: There's something wrong with what this person is saying. I should go find Dr. Miller.

Exhibition Room: Absurd Crystals (3)

Explain to the doctor the rumors you heard about the crystals.

You: Dr. Miller!

Dr. Miller: What is it, Miss [Player]?

You: I just came back from listening to that passenger's stories about Bakerlon crystals, but something feels off...

Dr. Miller: Hmm?

You: He said that long ago, Bakerlon aristocrats would grind crystals into powder and apply it to their faces for beauty purposes...

You: He claims some even ate the powder...

You: There's something off about it, almost like he made it up.

Upon hearing this, Dr. Miller's expression becomes serious.

Dr. Miller: I didn't think the passenger would get attention by fabricating stories about Bakerlon crystals. I will not permit such a thing to continue.

Dr. Miller: I will inform the conductor of this incident. Thank you, Miss [Player].

You: You're welcome. Glad I could help.
