Story Script
After you and Artem return, both of your minds turn to today's interactive task in the game.
Artem: If I remember correctly, today's task should be the bonus Easter Egg one, right?
You: Yup. Let's see what kind of game it is!
According to the instructions on the website, you enter a string of code into the corresponding easter egg page. A special task interface soon pops up, and you read the words out loud.
You: "Congratulations on activating the Easter Egg task... Every interaction is a communication between hearts."
You tap the screen again, and it now shows the detailed instructions for the Easter Egg task. Having spotted something of interest, Artem reads it out loud as well.
Artem: "Write down your wishes for the next five years with your partner..."
You: There's even a footnote reminder. "Keep what you wrote a secret. Don't let them know unless the wish has been fulfilled."
You: This Easter Egg task is so mysterious!
As you express your thoughts, Artem gets up from the sofa and starts going through the cabinets to find something.
He soon returns with a multi-colored glass bottle.
Artem: Let's put what we write into the bottle once we're done.
Artem: If our wish is fulfilled someday, then we can take the paper out and tell the other person. What do you think?
You: I agree! Whoever's wish gets fulfilled can talk about their secret first.
You pick up a pen and start to think hard.
You don't really know what to write on the page. You notice that Artem also seems to be facing the same dilemma.
You: Are you also finding it hard to come up with something?
Artem: No. I already have an idea, but... I'm not sure how early it can be fulfilled.
You: ...
Artem stares at you rather intensely, making your mind race with thoughts. Does his wish... have anything to do with you?
Then, you hear Artem's question.
Artem: What about you? You look... rather hesitant.
You: Five years, huh... I wonder what I'll be like in five years' time...
Artem: Hmm... Maybe you can write something about what kind of person you want to be in five years so you have something to look forward to? It's not a bad idea.
Artem: Or how about things that you hope will happen in five years' time?
You: Good call!
Artem adds on after some thought.
Artem: But we don't need to write a wish like "You and I will stay together forever." That's already a fact, and we will most certainly remain together in the future.
You: ...You predicted what I was thinking.
You: Hahaha, I'm kidding. All right, let's start writing!
The sound of rustling paper can be heard. Artem lowers his head and diligently writes. You look away, not wanting to peek.
After some thought, you pen down your wishes for the next five years as well.
After writing this, you and Artem fold the paper strips and place them in the glass bottle.
You: Doesn't this feel like we're making some sort of wish?
Artem: Yes, I believe so.
Artem: But you don't have to worry about whether the wish will be fulfilled, because we will always walk hand-in-hand in the future.
Artem: Leave the wishes you can't fulfill to me, and I will help you achieve them.
You knock on the glass bottle and the crisp sound echoes in the room.
You: Since we're walking hand-in-hand together, then we need to fulfill these together.
Artem nods. He firmly reaches out and gently caresses your cheek.
Slowly closing your eyes, you can already imagine the happy image of your joined future.
