Summary
Vyn and the
Main Character search
Crystal Wu's hotel room together while discussing her condition. They discover a laptop, through which Crystal has been communicating with someone pretending to be the Phantom in coded messages. The messages change from affectionate to insidious a month before the day's incident, with the "Phantom" clearly disrupting Crystal's mental state and inciting Crystal to prove she, not Sarai, is the real Christine. Vyn concludes from the change that there are two Phantoms who have been sending Crystal messages from the same account.
Back at the theater, troupe member Rayan Blakeley, who plays the Phantom, seems to have unusual care for Crystal and awareness of her condition.
