Return to the von Hagen Estate with Marius
By the time you get back to the von Hagen estate, it's almost evening.
The sun is still shining brightly, and the furniture in the room looks a little cozier in the warm yellow light.
Marius: Well, Miss, what do you want to say to me?
You: I'm just... I'm just a little worried about you.
You: When we came out of Timmy's house, I noticed that your expression was a bit off.
You: Are you worried about your brother again?
You sit down next to Marius and place your hand in his palm.
Marius nods and gently holds your hand in his. You can feel the warmth of his palm.
Marius: Well, seeing Timmy upset over his brother makes me... not feel so great.
Marius: My dad had a busy schedule and my brother had his own things to deal with.
Marius: When I was little, I was often left alone at home.
Marius: For a long time... I found myself slipping deeper and deeper into confusion and angst.
Marius: How should I put it...? I wasn't afraid, but I did worry that... no one cared about me.
As he dives into this heavy subject matter, his tone remains calm and normal.
It sounds as if he is talking about someone else's story, not his own.
Marius: Fortunately, though, my brother noticed that my mood was off. He guided me and taught me to comfort myself and develop my own goals and interests.
Marius: To Timmy, Cyrus Caddell was his guide on the path of learning to draw.

There is no update about Giann von Hagen. It is unknown whether his brother is alive or dead—not to mention all the gossip.
You can imagine the anxiety buried deep in Marius' heart.
Marius: I am not some troubled little boy anymore.
Marius: I know what I want and... I, alone, am capable of solving my problems.
You: But you're not alone.
You turn your hand over and take him by the palm. You rub it gently to show him how much you care.
You: I'll always be with you.
Marius: True, I have you... I'm not alone anymore.
Marius: The most important thing in my life used to only be my family, but now I have so much more... I have you, my love.
The halo of light spilling into the room through the window illuminates Marius' eyes.
He finally smiles. The light in his eyes is bright... brighter than the sun.
Marius: [Player], I've got something for you. Wanna see?
He tilts his neck and rubs his forehead against the top of your head, expressing how important you are to him.
When he does this, it makes you helpless to refuse.
You: Okay.
Marius takes your hand and leads you to the bookshelf. He gently presses your shoulders to sit you down.
You: What is it? You look so secretive.
Marius: You have to be a little patient in life to enjoy surprises.
Marius stands in front of the bookshelf, blocking your view with his body. He then fumbles around on the shelf.
You: Just so you know, if it's some kind of trick, I refuse to accept it.
Marius: It's not. I promise.
His reply makes you even more curious. You can't help but crane your neck to look.
Marius holds back his laughter and speeds up his movement. A few seconds later...
Marius: ...Got it!
He grabs something and hands it to you.
Marius: Here, a present for you.
You: ...Is it a book?
An object that looks like a hardcover book falls into your hand. It's a booklet with a vellum cover.
Marius: Didn't you say that you wanted to read my picture book?
Marius: This is it.
You: What?
You remember, now. You once said something like that to change the subject.
Marius sounded like he was joking at the time. You never thought...
Marius: Open it and see if you like it.
Marius comes to your side and looks at you with anticipation.
His drawings... What kind of story will his drawings tell?
Your curiosity is aroused. You open the picture book... and yet...
You: Marius!!! It's blank!
You flip through it several times, but the pages in the picture book are all empty.
There isn't a speck of dust on it, not to mention any drawing inside. It's perfectly clean and spotless.
As surprise sets in, Marius wraps his arms around you from behind and pulls you into his embrace.
Marius: ...
You: You are... teasing me again.
Marius: No, I'm serious...
He whispers in your ear, the warmth of his breath accompanying his soft voice.
Your whole body feels like it's slowly being submerged in warm water.
You: I don't see how this could be serious.
Marius: Well, this picture book is called "Our Future."
You: Future...
Marius: The future is unknown and blank.
Marius: I want to fill it out slowly with you... What do you say?
You: I'm...
His warm breath brushes past your ear—your heart is pounding.
Marius: Miss, I'm waiting for your answer.
The future he is talking about is one he shares with you... It belongs to both of you...
You: O-okay.
Marius: What is it? I can't hear you.
He leans closer on purpose. His lips are pressed against your ear.
A current of electricity spreads from your ear throughout your whole body, making you forget how to move or speak.
You: Marius!
Marius: Hmm?
Darn it. Why is he teasing you at a time like this!?
You: ...I said okay!
Marius: Cool, so it's a deal.
Marius wraps you completely in his arms from behind.
Marius: Let's fill every page, on every day.... And we'll be together forever.
You: Yes, I'll be with you forever.
In the final chapter of Blurry Days and Nights, the young man finally finds his divine bird.
It is hope for the future, that the man draws with his pen.
There are no miracles or flukes in the world. There is only the perseverance and protection of the one who holds your hand.
Just like it is between you and him.
