|summary=Before the trial, the [[Main Character|main character]] is seen in the waiting room fretting over whether to use the last-minute surveillance footage provided by [[Winnie Cooper]], while [[Artem Wing|Artem]] is seen back at [[Themis Law Firm]] arranging an appointment with [[Vyn Richter]] to have the MC evaluated as both his potential partner and investigation team member. <br /><br />

At the trial, the MC faces off against [[Howard Syter]] of [[Baldr Legal Office]], presenting the evidence to successfully convince the judge this is a criminal case instead of one appropriate for a civil suit. The civil suit is dismissed, but [[Vernon Green]] is led away in regretful tears for [[Pedro Brooks]] as he is handed over to law enforcement.
