Summary

Before the trial, the main character is seen in the waiting room fretting over whether to use the last-minute surveillance footage provided by Winnie Cooper, while Artem is seen back at Themis Law Firm arranging an appointment with Vyn Richter to have the MC evaluated as both his potential partner and investigation team member.

At the trial, the MC faces off against Howard Syter of Baldr Legal Office, presenting the evidence to successfully convince the judge this is a criminal case instead of one appropriate for a civil suit. The civil suit is dismissed, but Vernon Green is led away in regretful tears for Pedro Brooks as he is handed over to law enforcement.
